About Us

Denny and Dianna McTamaney, originally from Grand Rapids, Minnesota, are the current owners of Gartzke's Greenhouse located in Blue Earth, Minnesota. The original greenhouse, dating back to 1933, was built by Nels Pederson, one of three brothers who came to America from Denmark.

Duane Gartzke, recent previous owner, bought the original greenhouse in 1973 from his parents, and he and his wife Bonnie continued the family business until June 2008.

The McTamaney's retained all of the five full time employees and they continue to provide many years of floral arrangement and garden center experience.

Gartzke's Greenhouse now includes seven greenhouses, offering over 50 varieties of perennials and over 20 varieties of Clematis. Growing several special varieties on site, Gartzke's Greenhouse offers the freshest flowers and plants in the area!
